Jersey’s club queen UNIIQU3 releases ‘Microdosing’ — her new single, the start of a new artistic phase and the first taste of a forthcoming project on Local Action that represents her most ambitious and impressive music yet.
One of the most important figures in worldwide club music, UNIIQU3 has made a habit of breaking down barriers. Whether it’s becoming the first Jersey Club artist to perform at Coachella, the first black female artist to play Holy Ship, appearing in Vogue or creating music for the WNBA, she’s an artist that’s constantly levelling up — and that’s a trend that continues on ‘Microdosing’, a new single both produced and voiced by her.
The first single from a forthcoming project on Local Action (home of India Jordan, Finn, Dawn Richard, DJ Q and more) that will be revealed in the coming months, ‘Microdosing’ places UNIIQU3’s instantly recognisable voice and songwriting ability front and centre, pairing a timeless house beat with an addictive hook. Drawing from New Jersey’s legacy of classic house as much as it does the city’s role in the evolution of contemporary club music, it’s further proof of UNIIQU3’s status as one of electronic music’s premiere artists.

All the tracks are great but Stepper is the standout for me! pounding syncopated kicks, rolling handdrums and playful sample work, dancefloor destroyer. Jack G.
